What can I rent on P2P?
We have several categories to choose from including bikes, outdoor gear, sporting equipment, water sports, and winter sports. If you'd like to list an item that doesn't appear to fit in one of the categories, send us a message and we'll consider adding another category in the future.
How does gear transportation work?
The renter and provider are responsible for coordinating transportation. P2P does not arrange this. You can meet at a park, drop off at address, pick up from address, etc. The options are endless and its 100% up to you.
Someone damaged my gear... now what?
Providers should be aware of the risk of letting renters use their gear. P2P is not responsible for damaged gear. If the provider is concerned about damage, consider a "damage hold fee" that would only be charged if there was damage done to the product.
I have gear to rent that doesn't fall into any of your categories. What do I do?
If your gear doesn't fit clearly into any of our existing categories, contact us at help@p2pgear.com and we will consider adding a category for you!
How long can I rent gear?
The rental period is decided by the provider and renter prior to the exchange of gear. You can rent for hours, days, or even weeks at a time as long as both parties agree to the timeline.
What if I want to keep the gear longer?
If you are decide you would like to keep the gear for longer than previously agreed upon, reach out to the provider directly to see if it is available for extension.
