These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of Adventure Share, a peer-to-peer rental service that connects individuals ("Renters" and "Providers") for the purpose of renting goods ("Items"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, you are prohibited from using the Platform. Introduction1.1. The Platform connects individuals who wish to rent out or rent Items.1.2. The Platform acts as an intermediary to facilitate rentals but does not own, manage, or take possession of any rented Items.Registration and Account2.1. To use the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. All renters and providers must be at least 18 years of age. 2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account.User Responsibilities3.1. Providers must ensure that their Items are described accurately and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards. Adventure Share may attempt to verify the accuracy of listed items, but has does have the obligation to verify each listing.3.2. Renters agree to use the Items in accordance with the rental terms set by the Lender and return them in the condition they were received.3.3. Both Providers and Renters agree to communicate responsibly and respond to inquiries promptly.3.4 Both Providers and Renters agree to communicate through the platform and not conduct rental services outside of the platform.Rentals4.1. All rental agreements are made directly between Providers and Renters. The Platform merely facilitates the connection.4.2. Providers set rental prices, rental periods, and other conditions. Renters are responsible for reviewing these terms and agreeing before renting an Item.4.3. The Platform may offer payment processing services to complete transactions. Fees for transactions may be applicable, which will be disclosed before confirming the rental.4.4. Any disputes regarding the rental agreement should be resolved between the Provider and the Renter. The Platform may offer a dispute resolution service, but is not responsible for any financial or legal outcomes.4.5 Adventure Share has the right to refuse your listing item for any reasonPayment and Fees5.1. The Platform may charge service fees or transaction fees for using its services, which will be disclosed to users at the time of booking.5.2. Renters agree to pay the Provider the agreed-upon rental amount through the Platform’s payment system.5.3. Payment processing services are provided by a third-party payment provider. The Platform is not responsible for errors, delays, or other issues related to payment processing.5.4 Adventure Share may charge certain taxes on transactions in order to comply with federal, and state requirements.Cancellations and Refunds6.1. Cancellations must be made according to the terms set by the Lender and as outlined in the rental agreement.6.2. Refunds for canceled rentals may be subject to the Platform's policies and any applicable service charges.6.3. The Platform reserves the right to modify or cancel rentals in cases of fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.6.4 If we attempt to issue a refund and the original payment method is no accessible, we reserve the right to issue a future credit in lieu of refunding to your original payment method.Insurance and Liability7.1. Renters are responsible for returning Items in the same condition they received them.7.2. Providers should ensure that their Items are adequately insured or are aware of the risks involved in renting them out. Adventure Share is not liable for any damage cuased during the renting period.7.3. The Platform is not liable for any damage, theft, or injury resulting from the use of rented Items. 7.4. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims arising from the use or rental of Items.Prohibited Activities 8.1. Users agree not to: Violate any applicable local, state, or national laws. Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities. Post false or misleading information about rental Items. Use the Platform for any unlawful or unethical purposes.Termination of Account9.1. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms and Conditions. 9.2. Upon termination, all rights to use the Platform will cease immediately, and any outstanding transactions must be resolved. Privacy Policy 10.1. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with the Platform’s Privacy Policy.10.2. The Privacy Policy outlines the data collection, storage, and sharing practices of the Platform. Modifications to Terms and Conditions 11.1. The Platform reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.11.2. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
